We Won!

The script for "The Celtic Knot," written by our Executive Producer, Louise Luster, received the 'Arthur Rosenfeld Award For Excellence in Writing' from the Action on Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, California. This award is presented to writers who demonstrate excellence in the use of the written word and the ability to tell outstanding stories. Congratulations to Louise and the crew on that project!

The Celtic Knot has been accepted by the Action on Film International Film Festival which takes place in Pasadena the end of this month. It has been nominated for the

ARTHUR ROSENFELD AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN WRITING

This award is given to writers who demonstrate excellence in use of the written word and the ability to tell outstanding stories. The films nominated are:

The Fall of '55 has secured North American distribution through Frameline.  Initial distribution will be through the educational market, followed by a general release through the DVD market.

The Fall of '55 will be shown at the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 17th, at the Roxie Film Center.

The Fall of '55 will show at the Spokane International Film Festival at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 4, at the Bing Crosby Theatre.

Pace Entertainment, Dublin, Ireland, has agreed to produce "The Celtic Knot".  Applications for tax benefits and funding will be submitted to The Irish Film Board and the UK Film Council.

The documentary "The Fall of '55" will be shown at the Reeling L&G International Film Festival at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 11th, at 5242 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL.

The Boise premiere of The Fall of '55 filled the historic Egyptian Theatre to overflowing on Sept. 30.  It will screen again on October 21 at 4:30 PM at the Special Events Center at Boise State University.

The documentary "The Fall of '55" will make its Boise premiere at the Idaho International Film Festival on Saturday, September 30th, at the Egyptian Theatre at 4:30 P.M.  A panel discussion, sponsored by the Ada County Human Rights Task Force, will be held immediately following the screening.

The Fall of '55 will be shown at the 2006 Idaho International Film Festival, scheduled to take place September 28-October1.  The date/time/place of the screening will be announced in the near future.

We are proud to announce that Andrzej Sekula has agreed to be Director/Director of Photography for The Celtic Knot, which will be filmed mostly in Ireland.

The documentary "The Fall of '55" was well received at the NewFest Festival in New York City.  A lengthy Q&A session followed the screening, several other festivals have requested submissions, and interest has been expressed by various distributors.

The Fall of '55 will make its worldwide premiere at the NewFest Film Festival in New York City, which runs June 1-11!  Congratulations to Director/Producer Seth Randal and his team for a job well done!

Negotiations are now underway with a production company regarding The Celtic Knot.

The Celtic Knot script is now finished and being reviewed by an agent who's interested in representing CTP.

KTRV Fox 12 interviewed Louise Luster about The Fall of '55 on their News at Nine program on February 2.  Clips of the documentary will be shown in the BSU Special Events Center at 8 PM on Friday, 2/3, and a trailer will be shown at that location at 2 PM on Sunday, 2/5.

The Pride Foundation has made a $500 grant to support the completion of "The Fall of '55".

Extensive work is being done on the Celtic Knots script.  After being edited by a script editor in February, it will be polished and presented at a pitch session in Los Angeles in March.
